We’re proud to be supporting a rather special hackathon next week. Hacklands is a community oriented festival combining elements of a hackathon, an unconference (or barcamp), and a festival. The event takes place on a farm in Kent over the weekend on the 14th – 16th August; check out the full schedule. Not only will the farm have wifi but it has a fully operational LTE network for participants to play with.

The Hacklands team consists of Helen Keegan (founder of Heroes of the Mobile Fringe Festival and Swedish Beers), James Tagg (co-founder and CTO of Truphone) and Lloyd Davis (podcaster, blogger, and conference and workshop facilitator, communicator).
